Most AI training teaches you tools. We teach you how to think.

There's no shortage of AI content. There's a shortage of people who can show you what it actually looks like inside a running business.

Every week, another platform launches an AI course built from documentation and demos. The instructor read the blog post so you don't have to. That's a summary, not training.

We started Learn AI with Nick because we kept watching smart, capable business leaders freeze up around AI. Nobody was showing them what it looked like in practice. In their workflows, with their constraints, on their timeline.

So we built training the way we wish it existed: grounded in real operations and focused on the moment you go from watching to doing.

OUR APPROACH

How we teach

Training that starts where the hype ends

Every session is designed around one question: what will you be able to do tomorrow that you couldn't do today?

Build, don't browse

Every session ends with something working. No slides-only lectures, no hypothetical walkthroughs. You leave with a working automation or a prototype you can actually use.

Your context, your tools

We train inside your actual workflows. Your tools, your data, the way your team already operates. Generic demos teach generic skills. Specific practice creates specific results.

We do this every day

Nick and Matt ship AI-powered products and automations for real businesses. The curriculum is work we've already done, not theory we researched.

THE TEAM

Who we are

Nick Basile

Co-founder & Instructor

Software engineer and product designer with 15+ years building for the web. Nick founded Markham Square to help businesses actually use the technology everyone's talking about. He still ships products and automations for clients daily, which means tomorrow's training material is today's real work.

He started building AI training because the stuff that already existed didn't look like anyone's real job. The demos were polished. The workflows were hypothetical. Nobody was teaching inside the messy, specific context where the work actually happens.

Matt Basile

Co-founder & Instructor

10+ years designing and shipping products for the web. Matt looks at a cool AI demo and asks the question everyone's thinking: okay, but how does this fit into the way we actually work?

At Markham Square, he owns the unglamorous part of AI adoption. The part where it has to run reliably, every day, without someone babysitting it. Our workshops don't end with "any questions?" They end with something running. That's Matt.

OUR MANIFESTO

What we believe

The principles that guide us

  1. AI is a tool.

Tools serve strategies. Start with the business problem, then figure out whether AI is the right way to solve it. Sometimes it is. Sometimes a spreadsheet is fine.

  2. Automation should free you up.

The goal is getting your time back for the work that actually needs your brain. If the AI is doing your thinking for you, you have a different problem.

  3. You won't understand AI until you build something with it.

Watching someone else do it has never been the same. Our sessions exist so you leave with something working.

  4. If your team can't use it without a manual, it doesn't work yet.

Simple systems that run every day beat sophisticated ones that run once.

  5. The best time to start was yesterday.

AI is moving fast. That's a reason to begin with something small and real, right now. Not a reason to panic.
